Building software that runs the business
I'm the co-founder and lead software engineer at Pandas Digital. I work across the whole stack, from the first workshop where we map out a problem, through architecture, design and development, to the servers it runs on and the support that keeps it running.
Most of my work is custom software for teams that have outgrown spreadsheets and off-the-shelf tools: booking and operations platforms, client portals, internal dashboards, invoicing and reporting, and the automations that tie them together.
How I work
- Start with the problem. Before writing code I want to understand how your team works today and what "better" looks like.
- Type-safe from database to screen. TypeScript and shared, validated contracts between the API and the apps catch whole classes of bugs before they ship.
- Secure by default. Two-factor sign-in, least-privilege database access, audit logs and careful handling of personal data are built in from day one, not bolted on.
- Ship small, ship often. Working software early, tested releases, and the ability to roll back in seconds.
- Practical AI. Assistants and automations that answer from your own content, stay on topic and keep costs predictable.
What I'm building now
At Pandas Digital I lead the engineering of our own platform: the website you're on (including Pixel, our AI assistant) and the operations system behind it, which covers projects, time tracking, quotations, invoicing and content. Every client project gets the same care.
